Don't worry..
I am still alive..
Haven't been blogging much lately because I am currently on a trip..
Man..I really hope that this trip can be over soon so I can go back to Oregon and go visit Jeremy in Portland..
Traveling for so long is really tiring...
Oh man~~
Now,I am waiting for my flight in Las Vegas Airport to my next destination,New York.
Will update some of my trip photos,IF I remember to do so..
Anyway,Jeremy finally got his surgery yesterday...
Woooo..Pretty intense there..I can see he is not having a good mood and good sleep because of the pain.
But I'm glad that you are sending out positive vibe right now~
I wanna see you soooooo sooo bad right now =(
I miss you~ T.T
Man~I feel so tired and feel like dying.... =.=;;;;
So,I moved out of campus on Friday and am now staying with Ron and Gail until Mina comes so we can travel around the states for a bit before going back to Perth.
And I went to Portland to visit my Jeremy! ^^ yay!!!
And yeap~I took the train from Eugene to Portland.
The train wasn't as fast as the train we have in Perth though.
Usually it would take us 2 hours of drive from Eugene to Portland, but it took me almost 3 hours to arrive in Portland.
I guess most of the reason why is that the train stops at several stops in between, but the stops weren't that long~
*shrug shoulders* I don't know...It was a longgggggggg trip~
A view out the window.
And of course! How can this post be perfect without a picture of myself?! XD hahahaha...
The trip to Portland wasn't as bad because I got to sleep during most of the trip. =)
Jeremy was there at the train station to pick me up.
He said he has never been to the train station so he had to look it up on Google Earth to find the address and where it is exactly..hahaha..
There you are.....I love it when guys are driving..hahaha =P
We were actually on our way to Jeremy's big brother's new house in Scappoose so that we can have lunch together.
There's Jason,Jeremy's big brother.
They don't really look alike but their personalities are so similar..It's like spending time with 2 different age version of Jeremy.hahaha XD
See that snow mountain very very far away??That is Mt Hood, one of the popular snow-skiing/snow boarding place in Oregon.Too bad I won't have any chance to go up there and give snow boarding a try =(
Jason just moved into a new place in Scappoose and the place is located quite a distance away from Portland, but the air is so fresh and it's so quiet and serene, surrounded by woods and nature.
The house itself isn't that big and fancy but I think it would be more than enough since he's living by himself.
And plus,he bought the 6.7 acres of land with the money he earned by himself and he's only 26 years old!A very hard working kid who never went to college but still manage to support himself with a good life.
There he is again, trying to reverse his car..
So cute~ cx
We didn't really do much things though because I've been to Portland twice already~And will be leaving through Portland,again....
Went to have lunch somewhere near Scappoose and then went back to Jason's place again,so that Jeremy could convince him to come spend time with us in Portland.
And boy did they spend quite some time talking about how they should go around with the whole idea.Jason didn't want to drive 30 minutes down to Portland and back to Scappoose again all by himself but Jeremy said he didn't want to drive Jason back to Scappoose at night after sending me to the train station.Jason ended up driving down to Portland and parked his car at Jeremy's place and then rode with us in Jeremy's car.
For us,the 30 minutes ride down to Portland didn't seem that long because we were constantly listening to Jeremy's music and having stupid argument over stupid things..For example:
Jeremy promised to keep his phone on speaker so we can talk with Jason while driving down to Portland so he wouldn't be so bored but I guess at the end,we were talking too much to each other that we really forgot all about Jason.haha..And Jason was complaining that it was the longest drive ever!
Walked around in Llyod Center mall for a bit, shared a Cinnabon with Jason, went to Apple stor so that Jason could ask the people in the store why is that Apple doesn't have a metallic mouse! He said they were soo close to perfection until they stopped at the mouse! He actually did go and asked while Jeremy and I stood far away to avoid the embarassment.. XP hehehe..
We walked down the river front and saw this
It's call the Dyke march where all the gay people gather around and walked down the town with the police escorting them. This was the only picture I took because it was wayyy to weird to take pictures of women without their tops and bras..Jason said it was the first time for him to see that many pairs of boobs in just one day!Jeremy was disgusted by the dangling boobs and he had his head turned around the whole time and had this really annoyed 'long' face.......The crowd was so huge that we had to wait for them to pass by before we can actually cross the street. We didn't really wait for them to pass by.There was a big gap in between the crowd and Jeremy just ran through it and we had to follow him. >.< Hoping that we wouldn't get cussed.
The only picture with 3 of us inside.
I didn't get to take much photos for this trip though because the 'taking picture' thoughts just didn't occur to me as much..Maybe because we didn't go to much place that is worth taking picture of...
Jason being silly in the Thai restaurant that we had dinner at.
They look nothing alike, right?!But talk to them and you will see how similar they are!hahaha..And I found out that they both have the habit of smelling their shirts before deciding whether or not they should wear them.. =.=;; A very weird habit indeed....
I had to leave Portland at 910pm and only then,I found out that I never really took a proper picture with Jeremy. So,at the very last minutes,we took a few..Just a few.... =(
I absolutely love this one because he looks so cute here ^^
*sigh*
After a day of fun,I'll have to wait until July before I can see him again....
And then after that, who knows how long it'll be until we get to meet again.... =(
*sigh sigh sigh*
31 May 2008
We (ChungA,JaeGu,KaHye,YeJi & Millie) were suppose to go to Portland to see the Rose Parade.
And since most of us haven't been to the coast,we decided to take the way up the coast.
We departed UO campus at around 6am,and I didn't know how long it took us to get to our first stop, because I basically fell asleep once I was done with my breakfast..hahaha..
Florence
We stopped at the Florence beach because I had to use the washroom...hahaha....
Newport
The store opens at 11am and we were there at 9:30am.. =.=""
And so,we decided to drive further up and hopefully will be on time for the opening of the Mo's in Lincoln City.
Lincoln City
I think we were there at around 1020am-ish and sadly, the store wasn't open yet.
So,we drove around for a bit.
Really only for a bit bit.
When we pass by the Mo's for the second time at around 1030am,the sign said "OPEN"!!
Hahaha~
We were so excited and quickly jumped out of the car and went in to indulge the famous Mo's clam chowder.
The view outside the restaurant.
MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm....Nice~~~~~~~ =)
I was too occupied with my ice-cream so there's no picture of me eating mine..hehehe..
Portland
Finally,we got to arrive in Portland at around 3pm-ish maybe?
Haha..
That was considered as a long long way because it only take 2 hours from Eugene to Portland if you use the highway.
Ok..So now, here comes the funny part of this whole trip.
Remember how I said we were suppose to go to Portland to see the Rose parade?
Well,we only found out that the parade starts at 9pm! when we got there.
Considering it might be late night once we got back to Eugene,so we decided not to wait for the parade and go visit the Rose Garden instead.
And so,we took the MAX (train) to get to the 'Rose Garden'.
It wasn't that far, only five minutes of ride from downtown, maybe.
We got off the train happily and what stood in front of us is a big stadium....
WTH?
They name a big arena "Rose Garden"?!!!!!
So the place we got off is not the actual Rose Garden garden...
Just a big stadium named Rose Garden.. =.=""
*pengsan*
Later on,we found out the actual rose garden is at the other side of the town, and it would take us at least 30 minutes of train ride to get there.
We decided to go back and take our car there instead.
Some times later,JaeGu oppa called SuJung unnie to ask her about the Rose Garden thing, and guess what she said?!!!!!
The roses aren't blooming yet... =.="
*pengsan lagi*
So.....What is the point of going to a rose garden without roses????
No point in going,right?
So......We decided to go and have dinner at the famous steak house instead.
A very fair trade,I think..hehehehe...
We were there early so we got to order the Supper menu~
USD$25 with soups/salad and entree..
Woah........Just one dinner already cost me almost RM100....... *sweat*
But good thing the food is really really good.
I ordered the "Potato and Leek soup".
At first I didn't know what 'leek' is..ok lar..I'm not that hiong in my English lar~~
And when the soup came, there were crab meat inside!
REAL CRAB MEAT!!!!!
Wah~The satisfaction index was til the max!
As for my entree,I ordered the " Slow Roasted Prime Rib of Beef",medium rare..
Turned out to be 'rare-r' than I expected..
Even though I could still see the blood coming out of the beef,it doesn't smell at all.
More over!!The beef was sooooooo soft and tender and..Oh my gosh~Definitely the best beef I've eaten so far..hahaha..
At the end of the trip,we decided to call it a Food trip instead of a trip to go see the Rose parade.
We all preferred the food than the parade! XD hehehe..
I told Jeremy about our trip and he was like,"Damn!Portland is only two hours away and you guys left at 6 in the morning!" *nasty look*
Well, good food is always worth while~ =P hehehehe...
